Krafton, the developer of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), has announced that it will be hosting the first official invite-only tournament for New State Mobile in India. The tournament, titled New State Mobile Battle Adda (NS Battle Adda), is set to kick off on April 25, 2023, and will feature 32 teams, including some of India’s most renowned organizations. Krafton made the announcement on the game’s social media handles, revealing all the teams and prize pool details of the event.

With the ban of BGMI, many players have made the shift to New State Mobile, and several organizers have conducted scrims and tournaments around this game. Krafton has previously conducted a couple of tournaments, but they were exclusive to official A-squad partners. This time, they are coming up with a competitive aspect and have invited India’s best teams, which previously had a good experience playing BGMI tournaments.

The NS Battle Adda tournament is officially managed by Tesseract Esports, which has operated as a producer of several BGMI tournaments in India. The 32 teams will be split into four groups with eight teams each, but Krafton is yet to announce the tournament format and prize pool distribution details.
